Olympics!!!

Olympic fever has struck. This past week and a half have been so fun watching the Olympics. Basically just getting home from work and leaving the TV on watching coverage. Although I am a little pissed off at the China's shitty coverage, it's still great to be able to watch and be in the same country that it is held in. It's always interesting how when the Olympics come around, people in general watch a lot of sports they would never have thought of watching or just never follow in general. I just try to watch as much of it as possible. Of course, basketball is what I'm keeping up with the most with Team USA dominating so far. Let's hope they keep it up. I have to say that they are looking very very good and can't really see them losing to anyone.

Had actual live Olympics experience on Tuesday by going to the soccer semifinals between Nigeria and Belgium. Nigeria totally obliterated Belgium from the start. I like watching soccer on TV (most people don't) but this was my first time watching it live and I have to say that it really is a lot more exciting. Thanks to Steve for having tickets to go! Our seats were at the corner but very close to the action. A lot of fun to watch.

Kick ass seats!

Next stop is Beijing! I'll be heading up to Beijing tonight to get some up close and personal view of the games. I'm so excited! It'll be just Steve and I going since everyone else went last week already but Weibin and Charles are there as well and Art will hopefully make it. Hoping that the typhoon doesn't hit HK too hard when he leaves so he can be there tomorrow. So far, I'll be going to men's volleyball semis and to track tomorrow. Should be a lot of fun. I'll be sure to bring my camera this time ;)
