Wow... It's been a long time since my last post... Work has been pretty hectic with thing picking up on the new project. Been learning quite a bit with regards to fibers and fabric types since I've had to do a lot of data cleaning up. It sucks when you have to go through over 30,000 rows of excel data one by one day in and day out. My eyes have been going nuts because I keep seeing endless rows of data... Regardless, I guess learning things is always good. Have had to do a lot of research on sourcing as well.
The move to the new place has been decent but a little rocky. Seems constant small issues keep popping up. First it was the drain in my bathroom being clogged. The sink and washing machine share the same pipe to the drain and it got really clogged after the first time I washed my clothes... Wasn't too bad, so I cleaned it up and proceeded to get some good ol' Drano to clear it. Didn't help. It got to the point where I couldn't shave in my sink since using my sink for more than 2 mins would fill it up and water would come back out from the washing machine side... Then, my hot water pipe that goes into the water heater busted right as I was done taking a shower. That got my whole kitchen wet and left me with no hot water... Thankfully, my landlord came over to fix the pipe and attempt to unclog the drain. Pipe fixed, drain still clogged. After the pipe was fixed, I had one of my light bulbs blow out which took out one of the breakers. This left me with no ceiling lights to my whole place (kitchen, bathroom, room) as well as no power to water heater. Had to call some guy to take care of that and he took a look at my drain while he was at it. 15 minutes later, he pulled out a huge clump of what looked like hair. Drain fixed, lights fixed. Now everything is good... *knock on wood*
Couple other quick notes... Bought a bunch of stuff for the apartment. It's crazy how expensive moving to a new place can be... I guess these are things that will last me a while anyways, so that's not too bad. Guandi opening last weekend! Good times. 10 mins walk from my place. That might spell trouble, haha. And finally... Need to get back in shape... Basketball season starts soon and I feel fat....
