After 2 and a half years of being in Shanghai, I am finally going to move out. I have been wanting to have my own place for a while but things never quite happened, haha. With my being super lazy and thinking about buying a place, I just kept procrastinating. Thanks to being on the beach at work and Ed's help, I have found a place that is really close to work and that is reasonably priced. Lease has been signed and will be moving in sometime this week.
The thing that kinda made me go for this place was the fact that not only is it close to work but I also got to pick out the furniture. At least this way I knew I would be more satisfied with it. The previous renter had his own furniture so the landlord never had to buy furniture. We went to Ikea last Sunday to pick out everything and I have to say that I really am satisfied with what I got to pick out. Landlord Gan (gan!!!) pretty much let me pick whatever I want, never even looking at price, and was more than happy to accommodate my needs. Once furniture is in, I can start moving in.
